|Robots made with polymer clay and pigment powders for a hint of shimmery goodness. |
When I had my daughter all sorts of new ideas came into my head with the robots. This was the first, a robot reading to a little robot
Not much to say about me really. I like to work in clay and resin mostly. Oh and can't forget the shrinky dinks! |
I make robots and jewelry that I sell at local science fiction conventions here in Texas but have also branched out to other states like Illinois, Massachusetts and California.
I am on the board of ASFA, the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists and also work on science fiction conventions. In 2012 I chaired ArmadilloCon, Austin's local literary science fiction convention, and was the head of advertising for WorldCon in 2013, LonestarCon and was head of art programming for LonCon 3. At MidAmeriCon 2 I am working in Marketing and focusing on Art Marketing trying to help to deliver an awesome art program. I have edited and designed the Artist showcase for Renovation, Chicon, Loncon 3 and Sasquan. I guess you can say I like fantasy art
Current Residence: Texas, Favourite style of art: fantasy art, Personal Quote: C is for Cookie
|Draw/sketch/sculpt/photograph me a little something and send me a picture and I will post it on my wall. From my page you can tell I am slightly partial to fantasy, robots, cats, rocketships, cutesy steampunk (yeah i know that isn't really a thing, but why not?) If you want more specifics, I like the color green, and my favorite artist is Brian Froud, my house is full of pictures of cool doors I have taken pictures of. If you want to recreate one of my pieces in your style, that would be cool too. |
STOP ASKING ME FOR POINTS!
I give points as thank yous for watches and the like as a thank you. If you ask it seems like it cheapens the gesture.
